A colony of Port Douglas fruit bats. Yes they have an aroma and you don't want to park your car below them, and they are noisy.

Ian fishing at Newell beach at the mouth of the Mossman river. In the background is Port Douglas. Like all the areas up here it pays to keep one eye on your line and one on the look out for crocodiles "CRIKEY"

Because of its pretty looks and position many couples come to Port Douglas just to get married in St Marys church or to have children christened.

Inside St MArys Church which was catholic but is now non - denominational. Christine and Ian have been attending the services each week which are run by a pastor and group from the Uniting church at Mossman. We have found them very good services.
